This piece the same type of back story like my jacks oil painting, it's based on the traditional marvels kids play regularly in Cuba, the colors are similar to those used on my other piece. Each marvel was made separately and then I made the background.

For this piece I used ink, and color pencils. I used a picture of myself as a reference and I decided to play a little with the skin color toned. I focused on using cool colors for the skin and warm colors for the shirt.

I called this drawing "Portrait of a Christmas Elf" and I made it for a contest, it was a portrait of myself and I decided to modify it a little bit to make it look different.
